Our staff consists of 35-45 employees in our Uniontown, Ohio office located between Akron and Canton. SBM’s core values are passionate people, collaborative communication, productive problem solving, and exceptional engineering. Our employees are passionate about what they do. Our firm is small enough to offer individualized attention to each client, yet large enough to successfully complete complex, large-scale projects.

Our departments consist of mechanical, electrical, site civil and technology engineering teams, complemented by a knowledgeable production department and conscientious support staff. Our principals are hands-on, providing mentoring to less-experienced engineers and offering a wealth of information to our clients. Each of our projects includes principal involvement throughout design.

SBM’s office attire is business casual with casual Fridays every week. In spring of 2019, we updated our office and created collaborative spaces.  We have free parking and free coffee … and, quite often there are donuts! We hold in-house staff events approximately monthly, and host family events several times a year. Recent activities include:
