It includes office space, a lobby, an ICU, animal recovery areas, classrooms, assembly areas and animal quarantine space. The public restrooms were designed with battery operated low flow hands-free fixtures. A centralized domestic water system was designed to serve exam rooms throughout the facility with backflow prevention at all equipment. Trench drain systems with hose stations were designed for ease of housekeeping in animal recovery rooms. Specially designed swim therapy tubs provide tempered water with whirlpool fittings and in-floor drain assembly for waterfowl/songbird therapy. Nourishment to the animals is provided with a food prep area that included a 3-pot sink and dishwashing equipment.
